It's so important to be able to re-live our most special moments and share them with those we love. It fills the soul. It inspires us. It allows us to reflect on what really matters in our lifetime - love and connection. Milestone Movies was born to honour, remember and celebrate our most precious moments in life.
I am a director, writer, producer and editor with over 15 years experience in the TV industry, working across documentaries, movie trailers, commercials, music and lifestyle television.
My experience includes working for National Geographic Channel in Australia and London, creating pitch reels that have won documentary grants with Discovery Channels and travelling the globe on various freelance projects.
My work has gone on to win awards in Sydney and New York (Promax BDA, Gold Sydney & Silver New York 2014, Crittercam') and I produced the highest rating documentary on National Geographic Channel in history (Australia's Hardest Prison: Lockdown Oz).
I've directed well known Australian celebrities such as Bryan Brown, Rachel Ward, Magda Szubanski, Deborah Mailman,Alex Dimitriates, James Tobin and
Adam Spencer plus I've had the pleasure of interviewing a plethora of fascinating individuals like Annie Griffiths Belt, (world renowned photographer), Jessie Martin (youngest person to sail around the world solo), Jesus Rivas (world famous herpetologist) and frontline tsunami survivors from Thailand in 2004.
All this has led me to my passion. I now use my talent and flair for feeling my way into a story in Milestone Movies and my other business Funeral Films (funeralfilms.info). My mission is to create personalised films that touch hearts, deeply. When I sit down to work I get to immerse myself in the best of a person's life. It's a privilege and daily personal inspiration.
